Long time y’all! The sweet work of our site hacker left us without ‘blog-ability’ for a little while…Our website is now back up so we are good to go!
We are in ALBUM MODE people! It’s definitely a ‘mode’ for us in the band! It’s a common headspace we all need to be in to survive the late nights, extra rehearsals, demoing, pre production, planning, recording, wondering where we are gonna get the money from!..It becomes tough working around our already busy schedules, day jobs and families, escpecially with Christmas just around the corner!… But we LOVE it and wouldn’t have it any other way.
I LOVE ALBUM MODE! Getting the creative juices flowing, smashing out your greatest performance in the studio and hearing the songs ‘evolution’ into its finished product. So rewarding. Seriously can’t wait to share with everyone.
Even though we released ‘Light Has Come’ in 08 this new album still feels like it will be our first…It’s a new sound, a new song! Psalm 40:3, He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD…Love it.
Another ‘first’ for us will be shooting a video for the first single from the album, ‘Your Love Is Forever’…BOOM! A rockin little tune that may even make you wanna dance…more to come!
So we are BUSY!!! Hard at work getting this looking and sounding the best it can and working with the insanely talented Michael Paynter for the first time… that’s another blog in itself!
