With special guests ‘The Kingdom’

Hey peoples just a quick update and blog about the latest happenings in The Kingdom…

The new single ‘Love Away’ has been released and currently rocking radio right around Oz including LightFM in Melbourne Town : ). We recently played acoustic versions of the song live on the Luke & Lucy breakfast and Green Room shows…heaps of fun! Our EP ‘Love Away’ has now been released on Itunes in a new ‘deluxe version!’  New acoustic versions of Love Away and How it was, a How it Was Remix by Joth Hunt and demo of Your Love all included for your listening pleasure-ness. We have already lined up plenty of dates for 2011 including Forest Edge Festival and Easterfest and heaps more in VIC and NSW. We are also working behind the scenes writing and preparing for new music that we know you will LOVE!…Not long.

Well, as you know we are supporting the well oiled COG (Compliments of Gus) on their current Victorian Tour!

Having an absolute ball along the way as you do with those guys & gal, it is always a pleasure catching up with great friends and at the moment its weekly! : ). 4 out of 5 of us ‘Kingdomites’ have known Jared and Bec Haschek since Jared recorded and mixed out very first youth band album back in the day! Aaaa good times…

Well out first stop on the tour was at Kardinia CC! A fantastic bunch of Geelongites came out for the night and were treated to a good 2.5 hours of great music with a good dose of comedy!  30 mins of The Kingdom and 2+hrs of the Compliments! I remember checking out their set list of 16 songs and thinking…’I hope one day we will be able to rock a tour that huge!’ Pure Rock… Watching the Gus is always a crack up with Justin and Jared bouncing randomness off each other and then tying it into the next songs….or not!? lol….they are kings. Everyone was really responsive, really getting into it despite it being a sit down event…they are just a very cool bunch down there!

Can’t wait for this weekend for more rockin with The Kingdom in Ringwood and Warragul!!
